Two apparent drownings were reported Saturday night on west metro lakes, while a boy pulled from a Morrison County lake was flown to a Twin Cities hospital.

One person was pulled from Long Lake in Orono, according to scanner reports. In a separate incident on nearby Lake Minnetonka, a woman's body was founds after an hourslong search.

The first occurred on the southeastern side of Long Lake in Orono. About 6:25 p.m., Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies, Orono police and Long Lake firefighters were called to Summit Park Beach on a medical emergency involving a woman.
According to scanner reports, a person was pulled from the lake near 455 E. Long Lake Road about 7 p.m.
Crews responding tried to resusciate the woman before she was pronounced dead.
About 7:05 p.m., a report of another possible drowning, this one on Crystal Bay on Lake Minnetonka, emerged in scanner reports. A dive team was being called in to search for a woman who was part of a group of 12 people on a pontoon boat. The woman, who could not swim and was not wearing a life jacket, went underwater and did not resurface, scanner reports said.
In that incident, rescuers congregated at the Maxwell Bay launch on Crystal Bay, near Bohns Point Road, for the search. About 1:35 a.m. Sunday, the body of the 36-year-old woman was found.
Earlier in the day, a 3-year-old boy was taken to a hospital after being pulled from Lake Alexander, near Randall, Minn., according to a Facebook posting by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a near drowning at 4:38 p.m., and rescuers were giving the boy CPR when deputies arrived.
The child was part of a group of friends and relatives playing on a water trampoline and then went missing, the Sheriff's Office said. The boy was found under the trampoline and airlifted to Children's Hospital, according to the Sheriff's Office. Further information about the boy was not available Saturday night.
