Gabby Sprang, Rosemount, soph.: A scholarship to Tennessee awaits for this powerful righthander.

Emma Hylen, Roseville, sr.: At 6-foot-3, the Iowa State recruit is an intimidator.

Amber Elliott, Anoka, soph.: Only a late-season injury kept her from first-team status.

Kierstin Anderson-Glass, Visitation, sr.: 13-1, 0.92 ERA for the Section 4, 2A champs

Position players

Julia Luciano, Eastview, sr.: Smooth-fielding 3B hit .386 in the tough South Suburban

Emma Nelson, Mpls. Southwest, jr.: The shortstop hit .621, is the Mpls. Conference MVP

Anne Gimmestad, Wayzata, sr.: Coach Amber Hegland calls the shortstop "one of the best to play the game."

Sydney Monsour, Edina, sr: The fleet CF plays gap-to-gap in the outfield; signed with Augustana.

Jessica Bonfe, Hill-Murray, sr.: Four-year starter finshed the season hitting .474, 6 HR, 27 RBI.

Catchers

Malorie Giere, New Life Academy, sr.: Leader behind the plate; signed with Div. I Lipscomb (Tenn.)

Anne Miller, Bloomington Jefferson, soph.: Accomplished with the bat and wields a dangerous arm.
