Woman whose body was found in burning car in Minneapolis is identified

The cause and manner of the death of the Bloomington woman remain under investigation.

The woman whose body was found in a burning car late Thursday in south Minneapolis was identified Saturday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

The cause and manner of the death of Rosalyn Frances Bailey, 78, of Bloomington, remain under investigation, the medical examiner's report said.

Her body was found in a burning car late Thursday in the 5600 block of S. Minnehaha Park Drive. Authorities have not said whether a crash preceded the fire.
