It's a short week, so Tuesday is the only day the Vikings will practice leading up to Thursday's game at Detroit.

And they were without leading receiver Stefon Diggs and three of four starting defensive backs in safeties Harrison Smith and Andrew Sendejo as well as cornerback Terence Newman.

Sendejo (illness) was a new addition to Tuesday's injury report after the team issued a simulated version on Monday. Diggs (knee), Newman (neck) and Smith (ankle) also did not practice on Tuesday.

Diggs played 43 snaps against the Cardinals, catching six passes for 37 yards without any injury announcement during the game.

Also not practicing are punt returner Marcus Sherels (rib/ankle) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee).

Sherels has already missed two games this season due to wrist and ankle injuries. He returned last week before exiting due to an injured rib.

Three defenders were limited for the Vikings on Tuesday in linebacker Eric Kendricks (hip), cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (ankle) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (illness).
