Rookie wide receiver Stefon Diggs scored his first career touchdown in today's 28-19 win over the Lions. So, did he keep the football afterward?

"Funny story. I lost it. [Just kidding]," Diggs said. "I didn't keep it. But hopefully there's more to come. No worries. I'm not really pressed for it."

Considering how well Diggs, a fifth-round draft pick out of Maryland, has played in his first three NFL games, that seems like a pretty safe bet.

Diggs had six catches for 108 yards in the win, his second straight game in triple digits. He now has 19 catches for 324 yards in his first three games.

"I wouldn't say it's coming easy," Diggs said. "It's a lot of preparation during the week with your guys. I don't take any of the credit because it's a collective thing. Playing receiver, you rely on a lot of other people and they rely on you. I just try to go out there and do what I can for my guys, have a good time, have fun and play at a high level."

On his touchdown, Diggs beat veteran Lions corner Rashean Mathis with a double move. He then laid out in the end zone out to make the 36-yard grab.

"I thought it was going to be a little bit out of my reach so I didn't want to run under it," Diggs said. "Usually, I'll just try to run under it."

Despite finishing the play with a spectacular catch, Diggs gave the credit to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who threw for 316 yards and two scores.

"It definitely feels good as far getting into the end zone, but the better thing is that Teddy was back there spinning it," Diggs said. "He let it go for me. I told him early in the game, I missed the earlier one and I said, 'I got you next time.' I was just trying to make a play for him."
