From the time the Timberwolves started play in 1989 until 1998, Kevin Harlan was their radio voice. While many of his signature calls -- "With no regard for human life!" after a LeBron James dunk -- came from his later work on a national level, Minnesotans have their own calls to remember from his years here.

"No one had heard anything like Kevin before he arrived in Minnesota," said Tom Hanneman in a video tribute when Harlan was about to leave for CBS.

Take a listen -- and watch for some of the players from the early years of the franchise. (Hey, look, it's Cherokee Parks!)
