Mose Hall, a redshirt freshman defensive tackle for the Gophers, announced Monday on Twitter that he has decided to transfer.

The 6-4, 275-pound Hall comes from Mobile (Ala.) Murphy High School, the same school that produced former Gophers wide receiver KJ Maye and current defensive tackle Gary Moore.

Injuries left the Gophers thin at defensive tackle last season, but it's now a team strength for the team with Steven Richardson and Scott Ekpe both healthy, and the addition of junior college transfer Merrick Johnson to go with a host of top reserves, including Andrew Stelter, Gary Moore and Yoshub Timms.
