Twin Cities-based HomeServices of America Inc. said Tuesday it acquired First Weber, the largest brokerage in Wisconsin, and the company's biggest acquisition to date in the Midwest.

Terms were not disclosed.

First Weber Group, based in Madison, has nearly 1,200 sales associates in 58 offices in Madison, Milwaukee and other regions.

Last year, First Weber closed $2.5 billion in sales and was among the top 20 brokers in the U.S. The deal includes Priority Title Corp. and an interest in eight regional title operations. Current leadership, including President and CEO James Imhoff, remains.

HomeServices, which has offices in 26 states, already has a presence in Wisconsin via its 15 Edina Realty offices in the western part of the state.
