Jake Odorizzi, who has been one of baseball's top pitchers with a 9-2 record and 1.92 ERA, will start for the Twins against Kansas City's righthander Glenn Sparkman (1-2, 3.58).
Twins CF Byron Buxton's injured wrist checked out OK. He's available for pinch running and fielding, but probably can't hit tonight. Max Kepler will play center field.
