The Gophers on Sunday received their third verbal commitment from an offensive lineman this weekend, when junior college tackle Jason Dickson announced via Twitter that he has chosen Minnesota.

Dickson, a 6-7, 295-pounder, has played the past two seasons at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif. The three-star recruit is listed as the seventh-best junior college offensive tackle in the 247Sports.com composite rankings of the Class of 2018 and had offers from UCLA and Arizona State. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Dickson, who visited the Gophers during their "eLITe18Palooza'' recruiting event this weekend, joins guard Curtis Dunlap and tackle Daniel Faalele, both of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., in committing to the Gophers this weekend. Minnesota now has verbal commitments from 26 players, with the Dec. 20-22 early signing period approaching.
