The Minnesota State Patrol was investigating a fatal crash in Itasca County on Saturday night.
The crash happened about 6:15 p.m. as a Chrysler Town and Country traveled east on Itasca County Road 28, approaching Hwy. 6 in an area known as the Deer Lake Unorganized Territory, the patrol said.
The vehicle skidded through a stop sign, rolled and struck a power pole, according to the patrol.
Other details were not yet available as the investigation was continuing Saturday night.
