A 62-year-old woman from Thief River Falls was fatally injured late Tuesday afternoon in a crash in northwestern Minnesota's Pennington County, according to the State Patrol.

Mary Louise Reierson, who was driving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country, was heading north on Hwy. 32 just north of St. Hilaire when a southbound Silverado pulling a trailer slid into her lane and the two vehicles collided. Reierson died after being taken to a Thief River Falls hospital.

The 18-year-old driver of the Silverado and her 56-year-old passenger, both of Thief River Falls, were not harmed.

Roads were icy at the time, the patrol said. All involved in the crash were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor, it said.

Also Tuesday, the Hennepin County medical examiner's office has released the names of two people who have died as of injuries suffered in separate traffic incidents.

Hali Kay Burchfield, 22, of Hartford, Mich., died Monday afternoon at Hennepin County Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained during a Feb. 5 crash in Minneapolis. She was injured at the intersection of Interstate 35W and 46th Street at 1:42 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating
