The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for the driver of a semitrailer truck who may have hit a pedestrian Wednesday who reportedly jumped from an overpass onto Interstate 94 and was killed.
The person reportedly jumped from the County Road 9 overpass in Avon. Witnesses said a white semitrailer truck traveling east in the right lane may have struck the person without realizing it, according to the State Patrol.
The truck may have damage to its front bumper area. Troopers want to find out find out what the driver may have seen. Anyone with information about the semitrailer truck or its driver is asked to call the State Patrol St. Cloud district at 651-582-1292.
