A motorcyclist died Saturday afternoon when his bike left the road near Lindstrom, Minn., and crashed, according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities were called to the crash scene on Olinda Trail, north of 270th Street in Chisago Lakes Township, at 2:42 p.m., the Sheriff's Office said. Rescue personnel performed CPR on the victim, but he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not yet been released. The Sheriff's Office did not say if he was wearing a helmet.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash, the Sheriff's Office said.
