Metro Transit has announced a four-hour shut down of light-rail service from late Monday until early Tuesday in downtown Minneapolis.

Buses will replace Blue and Green line trains from 11:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 a.m. Tuesday between U.S. Bank Stadium Station and Target Field Station. Buses will run in their place, Metro Transit said.

Green Line trains will run as normal between U.S. Bank Stadium and Union Depot. Blue Line trains will operate as scheduled between U.S. Bank Stadium and Mall of America in Bloomington.

The shut down will allow Metro Transit to test electrical work that was completed during the recent 11-day shut down.
