Grammy-winning pop star Pink brings her 40-date tour to the Twin Cities, with the Xcel Energy Center booked for March 12, organizers announced Thursday.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 13, with a presale edge given to American Express cardholders starting Oct. 10. Ticket prices, before fees, start at $47.50, but pricier ticket levels have yet to be revealed.

"At the request of the tour, we are not able to share the ticket prices at this time," said Ellen McNair, a spokeswoman for the arena.

Tickets will be available at the box office, over the phone at 1-800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.

The announcement of the singer-songwriter's tour, which opens March 1 in Phoenix and wraps up June 2 in Los Angeles, coincides with the release of her album "Beautiful Trauma." An album download is included with every ticket purchased Oct. 10 to 20.

Pink last played in the Twin Cities in 2014 at Target Center. That tour sold out 142 times in 13 countries. She performed a year earlier at the X, where the show was more about high-altitude acrobatics than the music.

In her 17 years in the business, Pink has sold more than 42 million albums, 75 million singles and had four No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot 100.
