A drunken teenager crashed his car into a utility pole late at night in western Wisconsin, killing one of his three passengers, authorities said.
The wreck occurred about 1:45 a.m. Sunday on 170th Avenue at 112th Street in the town of New Richmond, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office.
Jordan M. Tulgren, 19, of New Richmond, died in the crash, the Sheriff's Office said. Two other passengers were hospitalized with injuries: Kevante D. Crutchfield, 21, of Idabel, Okla.; and Tianna N. McDermott, 18, of Baldwin, Wis.
The driver, Dalton R. Mundle, 18, of New Richmond, was hospitalized for his injuries and then arrested on suspicion of committing homicide while driving while intoxicated.
