FEB. 8

Theft. A 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from a driveway on the 1800 block of 134th Lane NW. The vehicle was warming up. It was later recovered in Washington County.

East Bethel

FEB. 6

Theft. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle while the children were being dropped off at a day care on the 1400 block of 215th Avenue NE.

FRIDLEY

FEB. 13

Dispute. Officers responded to a home on the 6100 block of Starlite Boulevard NE. regarding an argument between a 47-year-old mother and her 22-year-old daughter. The dispute was over house rules. Officers mediated the situation and determined no assault occurred.

LINWOOD TOWNSHIP

FEB. 5

Drunken driving. A 44-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after driving his snowmobile in to someone's house on the 23900 block of Jilliard Street NE. When deputies arrived he was walking around the yard and appeared intoxicated. He refused field sobriety tests and the portable breath test.

MAPLEWOOD

FEB. 4

Traffic. A driver stopped for speeding and not signaling a lane change on Hwy. 36 was cited for the latter offense.

MOUNDS VIEW

FEB. 11

Robbery. Officers responded to a parking lot on the 2500 block of Mounds View Boulevard regarding a robbery at gunpoint. The suspect stole a man's wallet.

Theft. A 2000 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from the Skyline Motel, 4889 Old Hwy. 8.

NEW BRIGHTON

FEB. 3

Disorderly conduct. Officers responding to a report of a fight in a parking lot in the 700 block of 10th Street arrested two men for disorderly conduct.

NEWPORT

JAN. 30

Suspicious activity. Two men offered to buy a liquor store in the 1600 block of Hastings Avenue. The two showed the store's owner a magic trick producing a $100 bill out of aluminum foil and two pieces of paper and said that's how they'd pay for the store. The offer was declined.

ST. ANTHONY

FEB. 4

Theft. Lottery tickets, valued at $180, were stolen from Freedom Valu Center, 3810 Silver Lake Road.

STILLWATER

FEB. 3

Animal assist. A deputy killed a deer that had been cornered and injured by coyotes in the 10000 block of Ottumwa Avenue.

WOODBURY

FEB. 2

Neighbor dispute. Two neighbors got into an altercation on Quarry Ridge Lane when one of them, believing the other was driving too close to him while he walked his dog, slapped the mirror of the other's truck. They have had an ongoing issue with each other's dogs being off leash. An officer talked to both about the Woodbury dog leash ordinance and advised them to keep their distance from each other.

FEB. 4

Suspicious activity. A vehicle was reported driving on the walking path at Potawatomi Park, 1201 Parkwood Drive. It was determined to be a police reserve squad patrolling the park and neighborhood.
