Theft. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 14300 block of Quince Street NW.

MAY 30

Theft. Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 16300 block of Crosstown Boulevard NW.

MAY 31

Theft. Gas was siphoned out of a vehicle on the 13800 block of Osage Street NW.

FALCON HEIGHTS

MAY 21

Domestic. A physical altercation occurred when a 25-year-old man attempted to retrieve property from his ex-girlfriend at an apartment in the 1700 block of Larpenteur Avenue. Both parties refused to press charges. The property in question was retrieved and the man was transported home.

MAY 22

Theft. Copper pipe, a water pump and two chain saws were stolen from a construction trailer in the area of Coffman Street and Folwell Avenue.

FRIDLEY

MAY 29

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a home on the 5400 block of 5th Street NE. regarding a possible domestic. It was found that several family members were intoxicated and mourning the loss of a family member.

MAY 30

Animal complaint. A resident reported baby raccoons were trying to get inside the house on the 1400 block of Glacier Lane NE. The three baby raccoons were captured and taken to a nearby nature center.

LAKE ELMO

MAY 22

Suspicious activity. A deputy responding to a report of a bike in the middle of the road in the 4500 block of Olson Lake Trail found no signs of damage or that the rider had fallen or slid off. The bike was moved to the shoulder.

MAPLEWOOD

MAY 25

Warrant. A driver stopped by police in the 100 block of Larpenteur Avenue was arrested on a warrant and cited for driving after suspension, no proof of insurance and a seat belt violation.

MOUNDS VIEW

MAY 28

Property damage. An unknown substance was put in to the gas tank of a vehicle on the 2200 block of Groberg Street.

MAY 31

Drugs. Two men, ages 28 and 55, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance at CVS Pharmacy, 2800 Mounds View Blvd.

NEW BRIGHTON

MAY 19

Theft. A vehicle parked in the 300 block of Old Hwy. 8 was broken into and $6,500 worth of cash and miscellaneous items was taken.

ST. ANTHONY

MAY 15

Theft. A 2009 Toyota Highlander was stolen from the 3000 block of Rankin Road. The vehicle was recovered in Brooklyn Park the next day and a 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of stolen property.

SCANDIA

MAY 22

Suspicious activity. A homeowner in the 14000 block of 202nd Street reported someone had moved the seat on her riding mower. She had earlier reported her garage door was missing and wondered if the two incidents were related.

MAY 20

Animal concern. An injured owl was reported in the area of Olinda Trail and 223rd Street. Parties at the scene agreed to look after the bird.
