One person died in a house fire Saturday night in the 4900 block of Logan Avenue N. in Minneapolis.
Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly before 9 p.m. to find the house in flames and quickly initiated a rescue of the victim, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.
Firefighters provided initial treatment, then called for an ambulance. The department confirmed the death an hour later.
The fire was extinguished shortly after firefighters arrived. Its cause remained under investigation late Saturday night.
