Alcohol violation. A juvenile female was cited for underage possession of alcohol and speeding following a traffic stop at Hwy. 212 and County Road 51. A 19-year-old man also was cited for under­age consumption.

Theft. A box of pulltabs was stolen from Mama G's, 9705 County Road 101.

JAN. 6

Drunken driving. A 60-year-old Eden Prairie woman was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 6200 block of Crosstown Hwy. 62.

JAN. 7

Drugs. An 18-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Link Road.

Theft. Two girls, ages 14 and 15, were arrested for theft after they were caught shoplifting at Macy's in Southdale Center.

Theft. Guitars valued at $4,238 were stolen from Guitar Center, 3650 Hazelton Road.

Drugs. A 33-year-old Champlin man was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving after revocation following a traffic stop at Hwy. 169 and Lincoln Drive.

MAPLE PLAIN

JAN. 6

City ordinance violation. A 16-year-old boy was issued an administrative citation for failing to abide by the city ordinance regarding snowmobile operation after an officer observed him riding on private and railroad property at Bryantwood and Clayton Drives. Officers told him he could not ride again until he obtained a DNR snowmobile endorsement. He also was advised about proper riding etiquette and driving on marked trails.

JAN. 1

Theft. Five women, ages 19 to 22, were arrested and cited for theft after failing to pay cab fare in the 700 block of Hwy. 55. Two of the women were also cited for underage consumption.

JAN. 9

Animal complaint. A resident in the 3400 block of Elm Creek Drive reported a large coyote in the backyard.

JAN. 8

Fire. Officers responded to a report of an appliance fire at a home on Willow Court. They found that the clothes dryer was plugged with lint. Nothing else was damaged.

PLYMOUTH

JAN. 5

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver in a parking lot in the 4000 block of Vinewood Lane. A 21-year-old Plymouth man was cited for possession of marijuana and brass knuckles.

JAN. 7

Disorderly conduct. Two men, ages 20 and 21, were arrested for disorderly conduct following a physical altercation in the 11000 block of Hwy. 55.

JAN. 11

Theft. A 2016 Ford Focus was stolen from a parking lot in the 14300 block of 28th Place N. The keys had been left inside the car.

TONKA BAY

JAN. 7

Drunken driving. A 60-year-old Tonka Bay man was arrested for drunken driving after committing numerous driving violations near Manitou Road and Tonka Bay Road. The driver refused to submit to a breath test.

WATERTOWN

JAN. 8

Theft. Cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Lewis Avenue S.
