Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a possible intruder at a home in the 5300 block of Timber Trail. They arrived and spoke with the caller, who said the intruder turned out to be his sister; he thought she wasn't home.

MEDINA

FEB. 13

Animal complaint. A resident in the 1400 block of Willow Drive reported he had an opossum trapped in the barn. After officers arrived, the resident told them he had killed and disposed of the animal and no longer needed their services.

MINNETRISTA

FEB. 19

Driving violation. Officers responded to a report of mailboxes damaged on Westwood Drive by a vehicle that had fled. They were able to piece together a suspect vehicle from parts left at the scene and cited the driver, a 53-year-old Mound woman, for hit and run.

PLYMOUTH

FEB. 18

Theft. A motorized scooter was stolen from a garage in the 3100 block of Harbor Lane. There were no signs of forced entry.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 15

Theft. Money was stolen from an apartment in the 6700 block of Cedar Avenue S. The victim had invited two people to his apartment whom he had met on a dating website, and he believed they took the money.

FEB. 16

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a home in the 6300 block of Bryant Avenue S. An 18-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of cocaine.

FEB. 20

Drugs. A 29-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested for possession of narcotics and violating an order for protection at Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S.

Robbery. A juvenile male reported he was robbed at gunpoint in the 6300 block of Dupont Avenue S. The suspect fled with $150 in cash and a pair of shoes.

FEB. 22

Disorderly conduct. Officers conducted a routine traffic stop in the 6500 block of Lyndale Avenue S. The driver, a 24-year-old Minneapolis man, refused to comply with their commands and caused a disturbance. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, driving after license revocation, driving with no insurance, reckless driving and expired license tabs.

ST. BONIFACIUS

FEB. 19

Child endangerment. A 45-year-old St. Bonifacius woman was arrested for neglect of a child after it was determined she had left her 2-year-old child alone at home.

SHOREWOOD

FEB. 11

Weapon. Officers responded to a report of a male on foot who was said to be pointing a gun at passing vehicles and making shooting motions at Hwys. 41 and 7. They arrested a 17-year-old boy, who admitted pointing a 24-inch piece of wood at motorists.

FEB. 14

Curfew violation. A 17-year-old Shorewood boy and a 17-year-old Minnetonka girl were cited for curfew violation on Hwy. 7.

FEB. 17

Drunken driving. A 31-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving after he was involved in a vehicle crash near Eureka and Smithtown roads.

TONKA BAY

FEB. 19

Drugs. A 36-year-old Mound man was arrested for possession of cocaine and drunken driving after he was stopped for an equipment violation near Circle and Manitou roads.
