Preview: The Lynx (16-4), coming off a 93-56 victory over Dallas at home Saturday, have won 13 of the past 14 regular-season meetings (including five consecutive) with San Antonio. The Lynx defeated the Stars 91-68 at Target Center on July 2. The Stars (5-15), last place in the Western Conference, are coming off a 75-65 loss to the New York Liberty on Sunday. The loss was the eighth in their past 11 games.

Players to watch: Maya Moore was named Western Conference player of the week for the third time this season and the 17th of her career. She averaged 28.3 points, 3.3 assists and 6.3 rebounds as the Lynx went 2-1 last week. … G Jia Perkins, starting in place of G Seimone Augustus, had 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists vs. San Antonio. She spent the previous five seasons with San Antonio. ... Stars G Moriah Jefferson is averaging 11.4 points per game.
Numbers: The Lynx, who are averaging 85.8 points per game, have scored more than 90 points seven times this season. They scored more than 90 only once in the regular season in 2015.
Injuries: Augustus has missed the past two games because of a sore right knee and is questionable. Stars G Kayla McBride, who was averaging a team-high 17.1 points per game, will miss the rest of the season after fracturing her right foot last week.
