Midwest Book Awards finalists announced
The awards ceremony will be May 13 in St. Paul.

Awards season is in full swing, that's for sure. The Minnesota Book Awards gala was Saturday night, the Pulitzers will be announced today ... and in between, here are the finalists for the Midwest Book Awards. The nearly 200 nominees come from the 12-state region of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio and South Dakota.
The invitation-only awards ceremony will be held May 13 in St. Paul.
