Minneapolis firefighters respond to car fire in downtown

There have been reports of a car fire downtown.

Firefighters have responded to a car fire in downtown Minneapolis.

The fire was reported near 7th Street and Marquette Avenue around 2:49 p.m. There were no reports of injuries, said Minneapolis Assistant Fire Chief Chérie A. Penn, on Tuesday.

About 3:20 p.m. fire officials tweeted that the fire was out and that no structures were involved in the incident.
