Gillen, Theodore John Formerly of Twin Cities, Age 65. Died peacefully October 1st surrounded in love by family and friends, Olympia, Washington. Preceded in death by brother Bob, parents Art and Lois, and sister-in-law Laura. Survived by dearest friend Kay Shirey, siblings Anne Marie (Bernie Wire), Peter (Julie Bromley), Jan, and Mary Berger (Paul); many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ted was a kind gentle person of extraordinary talent. He will be remembered as a virtuosic musician performing organ and piano concerts of incredible passion. He served as organist and choir director for several local churches including St. Mary's of the Lake, White Bear, Sacred Heart Church, East St. Paul, and Church of St. Michael's, Stillwater. Memorial service: March 10, 2pm at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church, 328 Maple St, Mahtomedi, MN 55115.
