A pickup and a semitrailer truck collided Sunday morning at an intersection near Eagle Bend in north-central Minnesota, killing the driver of the pickup truck, the State Patrol said.
The accident happened at 9:06 a.m. on Hwy. 71 at 380th Street in Wadena County. The patrol said the pickup was headed east on 380th Street and collided with a semi going north on Hwy. 71. The semi left the road and rolled, but the driver, a 51-year-old man from New Hope, was not injured.
The driver of the pickup died; the name, age and hometown have not been released.
