Parma 8200 in Bloomington in closing, after a seven-year run.

The upscale Italian restaurant and bar, operated by D'Amico & Partners, opened in 2010 in the Normandale Lake office complex.

The restaurant's final day will be Saturday, July 8.

"As Parma 8200 closes its doors, we look forward to new opportunities," said co-owner Richard D'Amico in a statement. "We are continually exploring new venues and new concepts. We have been privileged to be a part of the Bloomington community and look forward to serving our customers at other D'Amico properties."

Outstanding gift certificates will be honored at the restaurant until it closes, and then at any D'Amico restaurant, which includes Cafe Lurcat and Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis, Campiello in Eden Prairie and the D'Amico & Sons chain, along with multiple restaurants in Naples, Fla.

The company's local asset list has gone through some changes in the past few years. It closed Masa, its upscale Mexican restaurant on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, in October 2015. The original D'Amico & Sons location on Hennepin Avenue in Uptown Minneapolis was sold and closed late last year.

D'Amico has also recently launched Market House by D'Amico in the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, and Bushel & Peck (and an accompanying food truck) at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis.

The company announced that all Parma 8200 employees have been offered continued employment at other D'Amico properties.
