Performances by current and former students of the Performing Institute of Minnesota Arts High School in Eden Prairie were the highlight of the school's fundraising gala.

Spark the Arts: Power in Art events also included live and silent auctions as well as food and beverages.

The goal of the school, a tuition-free public charter school that serves grades nine through 12, is "to pursue artistic excellence and academic rigor" to develop "citizens who are creative, communicative, collaborative and curious."
