Ricky Rubio practiced fully today for the first time since the opening days of training camp and said if he comes through Saturday's practice fine, he'll play his first preseason game Sunday at Memphis.

He wore the same black jersey that the starters wore during scrimmaging.

"I felt good," he said. "I was ready for a practice like that for a week now. The schedule wasn't right, we were on the road so it's hard to get some practice but I feel good."

He said he felt no problems with his strained quad, that caused him to miss the first four preseason games, or his ankle, which kept him out much of last season and required surgery in April.

"Let's see how I feel tomorrow and if everything goes right, play Sunday," he said.

Also, Sam Mitchell said after practice that Shabazz Muhammad is fine. He didn't play Wednesday against Toronto in Ottawa.

Mitchell said he can't play everybody on the current 17-man roster and doesn't want to play anybody just a few minutes and added that Muhammad and Adreian Payne will get more action, starting Sunday.

Minnesota was without three players from the regular rotation but turned to Rob Dillingham, Luka Garza and Jaylen Clark for help. Anthony Edwards' 36 points helped, too.
