Jinkies! St. Paul police had a mystery on their hands after a stolen van crashed into a house in St. Paul early Friday.

When officers arrived on the scene about 3 a.m., they discovered not just any van, but a rad, "Scooby Doo"-inspired magical Mystery Machine.

The vehicle, which sustained front-end damage, hit a house on the 1000 block of East Fourth Street in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood.

Sgt. Mike Ernster, a St. Paul police spokesman, said officers were able to track down the owner of the vehicle, who lived in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood and had last seen the van parked outside his house Thursday night.

After a search, two teens were found nearby, and officers continue to investigate the mystery.

Meanwhile, St. Paul police had more fun with the incident than a Saturday morning cartoon, posting this update to Twitter:
