The search continued Tuesday for an 18-year-old man who is suspected of drowning in a river in Wright County, authorities said.

A call came to 911 shortly before 7 p.m. Monday from someone who was swimming in the North Fork Crow River near the Keats Avenue bridge in Middleville Township. The caller said that fellow swimmer Levi Wuollet, of Dassel, went under and failed to surface, the Sheriff's Office said.

Wuollet was swimming with friends and relatives at the time he disappeared, authorities said.

Rescue personnel from many agencies searched until 9:30 p.m., when lack of daylight overtook the scene northwest of the city of Howard Lake. Searchers have resumed their work Tuesday.
