Seimone Augustus, who has missed the entire WNBA season, appears to be nearing a possible return from May 30 knee surgery. Augustus has ramped up her activity, but has yet to take part in a full practice.

The veteran guard has missed the entire WNBA season because of a knee injury.

Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve called it a "big week'' for Augustus, who will be monitored to see how her knee holds up after increasing her activity.
• The Lynx signed Jillian Alleyne to a seven-day contract Tuesday. The 6-3 forward played for the Lynx in the preseason before being cut. She was a second-round pick by Phoenix in 2016 out of Oregon, where she was the 10th player in NCAA Division I history with 2,000 points and 1,500 rebounds.
Alleyne played in the Israeli league last winter, averaging 18.7 points per game for Hapoel Rishon Lezion.
Napheesa Collier of the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx took home $200,000 on Friday after she beat Washington Mystics forward Aaliyah Edwards in the final of Unrivaled's 1-on-1 tournament.
