Some details for the Vikings' first training camp at new Eagan facility

For the first time, fans must reserve tickets at Vikings.com starting in June. Admission is free. Season-ticket holders will get the first crack at reserving a ticket.

You'll have to act fast to attend Vikings training camp this summer, the team's first outside of Mankato at the new Eagan facility.

Attendance is expected to be limited to 5,000 per day, but the Vikings say that number is "to be determined."

For the first time, fans must reserve tickets at Vikings.com starting in June. Admission is free. Season-ticket holders will get the first crack at reserving a ticket.

Last year, about 5,230 fans per day attended training camp practices in Mankato. Attendance for 13 walkthroughs and practices totaled roughly 68,000 fans.

The Vikings are also considering reserved seating and upgraded experiences at a cost. Shuttles, daily autograph sessions and previous staples of Vikings camps will continue.

The team will release the full camp schedule in June.

July 24: Rookies, quarterbacks and rehabbing players can report.

July 27: Veterans report.

July 28: First full-team practice.

Aug. 11: Preseason week 1 at Denver

Aug. 18: Camp ends prior to preseason week 2 vs. Jacksonville
