After Minnesota United's 2-0 win against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium, coach Adrian Heath gave an update (non-update?) on the possibility of United acquiring any players before the close of Major League Soccer's primary transfer window Monday.

"Probably not," Heath said. "As of now, we're not close to doing anything. ... Losses make people do strange things sometimes, so we'll see what happens in the next 48 hours. But if we could do something that we thought would make us stronger and better, we'd do it.

"As far as this moment, nothing."

The window allows for team's to request the transfer of players under contract in other countries. There could still be domestic or out-of-contract acquisitions outside the window. The secondary window is July 10 to Aug. 9.

I talk about the transfer window situation, plus other things, in my Facebook Live. Video is embedded below or click here. Not sorry I was fixing my hair at the beginning.
