UPDATE 6:30 PM JUST BEFORE OPENING TIP: Tom Thibodeau said before tonight's game that everybody but Adreian Payne (illness) was healthy and available to play tonight in Detroit, but the Wolves just scratched backup point guard Kris Dunn because of sore right hand. Hello, Tyus...

Until Wednesday's 125-97 thumping at Cleveland, the Wolves' most lopsided loss this season was a 117-90 home loss to Detroit in December.

The two teams meet again tonight, in the series' finale.

It's also the last time the Wolves will play at the Palace of Auburn Hills, which was the fanciest, most modern arena in the league when the inaugural Wolves team played its first game in 1989.

The Pistons are playing their final season in this far-flung northern suburb Detroit. Starting next season, they'll move to the Red Wings' new Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit.

In case you didn't see it, here's a story I wrote for today's paper on Tom Thibodeau and the Wolves visiting for the last time.

In the first meeting this season, Pistons center Andre Drummond punished the Wolves, to the tune of a 22-point, 22-rebound night.

"He just played really, really hard and with great energy all night," Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said before tonight's game. "And when he does that, he's a tough guy to deal with."

It also helped that the Wolves fouled intentionally and repeatedly fouled Drummond in a futile attempt to catch up and Drummond, usually a poor free-throw shooter, made 10 of 13 attempts.

"He's capable of that," Thibodeau said of Drummond's 22-22 game. "His athleticism, his ability to roll to the rim, they throw the ball up and he's a great finisher around the rim. We fell behind, we were fouling him to try to get back into it and he made his free throws, too."

Just FYI: Little-played Wolves forward Adreian Payne didn't practice Thursday in suburban Detroit and is not available to play tonight because he has been ill.
