While his father was forced to absorb a loss and a heated verbal exchange with an unruly fan on the road in the ACC on Wednesday night, Richard Pitino had a much more enjoyable evening in the Big Ten.
Big Ten Network cameras were in the Gophers locker room as Pitino addressed his team following Wednesday night's victory at No. 24 Maryland - a win that all but wraps up the Gophers' spot in the Big Dance.
In Pitino's mind, it's no longer a question.
"We're talking about seeds in the NCAA tournament," Pitino says.
