Tony Calderone scored the first two goals of the game and had an assist to lead Michigan to a 5-2 victory over host Penn State on Saturday night in Big Ten hockey.

After Calderone's second goal, at 14 minutes, 48 seconds of the middle period on a power play, teammate Brendan Warren scored nine seconds later to make it 3-0 Wolverines.

Dexter Dancs had a goal and two assists for Michigan, which lost 5-4 in overtime in the series opener.

Hayden Lavigne had 42 saves for the Wolverines. Two goalies for No. 15 PSU stopped 25 shots.

Ohio State 3, Robert Morris 1: Tanner Laczynski broke a 1-all tie with 2:31 left and then added an empty-net goal to lead the visiting Buckeyes over the Colonials.

Michigan State 6, Lake Superior State 0: Mitch Lewandowski scored twice and John Lethemon made 15 saves as the Spartans routed the Lakers for a series sweep in East Lansing, Mich.

St. Lawrence 6, Wisconsin 3: Jacob Pritchard had two goals and an assist as the Saints upset the No. 5 Badgers at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin outshot St. Lawrence 37-14, but Saints goalie Arthur Brey stopped 34 shots.

Minnesota Duluth 2, Maine 0: Parker Mackay scored in the first period on a power play, and Riley Tufte in the second with 1:13 left as the No. 10 Bulldogs edged the host Black Bears. Hunter Shepard made 26 saves for the shutout.

North Dakota 6, Colorado College 4: Grant Mismash scored twice as the No. 4 Fighting Hawks beat the host Tigers for a series split.

Bemidji State 3, Ferris State 0: Myles Fitzgerald scored two third-period goals as the host Beavers beat the Bulldogs. Dan Billett had the first Bemidji State goal with 1:28 left in the second period. Michael Bitzer had 19 saves for the shutout.

MSU Mankato 5, Michigan Tech 3: Power-play goals by Daniel Brickley and C.J. Suess 57 seconds apart late in the third period broke a 3-all tie for the host Mavericks, ranked No. 12.
