One streak will end in Madison

Preview: The Gophers (23-7, 11-6) displayed their offensive balance during their eight-game winning streak with five different players leading them in scoring. They have scored 80 points or more in four straight Big Ten games for the first time since the 2001-02 season. Minnesota only shot 5-for-14 from three-point range in Thursday's 88-73 win against Nebraska, but it shot 62 percent from inside the arc. The Gophers had a season-high 48 points in the paint in their last game. Wisconsin (22-8, 11-6) has lost of five of the past six games, including three straight after a 59-57 loss against Iowa on Thursday night. But the Badgers have six straight wins in the Border Battle series.

Players to watch: Junior Nate Mason has surpassed the 20-point mark four times in his past 10 games, including 25 points on 9-for-13 shooting Thursday against Nebraska. Sophomore Jordan Murphy's 20 points and 11 rebounds Thursday represented his 11th double-double this season and his sixth in the last seven games. Wisconsin senior Bronson Koenig leads the team with 14.1 points per game. Koenig has scored 63 points combined with 10 three-pointers in his past three games.

Numbers: The Badgers could set an NCAA single-season record Sunday with their sixth straight loss against an unranked opponent when ranked.
