Junior guard Audrey Gadison scored 19 points to lead the St. Croix Lutheran girls' basketball team to a 76-64 victory over Holy Angels, the top-ranked team in Class 3A, on Tuesday.

Freshman guard Clara Avery scored 17 and junior forward Stephanie Miller added 16 for the Crusaders (16-5), who lead the Tri-Metro East.

Sophomore forward Destinee Oberg scored 22 to lead the Stars (19-2), who had an 11-game winning streak ended. The Stars lead the Tri-Metro West.

Edina 55, Hill-Murray 39: Senior Annika Jank scored 25 points to become the Hornets' career scoring leader as the Hornets beat the Pioneers in a nonconference game.

Hopkins 79, Annandale 35: The Royals, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, cruised past the host Cardinals for their 22nd consecutive victory. Freshman Paige Bueckers scored 19 points and sophomore Dlayla Chakolis 18 to lead the Royals.

Minneapolis South 81, Minneapolis Washburn 38: Eighth-grader Jade Hill scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Tigers (19-3) to their 11th consecutive victory. Hill scored 20 in the first half to help the Tigers race to a 54-16 halftime lead.

St. Paul Como Park 73, St. Paul Washington 15: Senior Aazhra'rae Jackson scored a career-high 28 points to highlight the Cougars' victory. Jackson made six three-point field goals as the St. Paul City Conference-leading Cougars improved to 14-7 overall and 9-0 in the conference.

Boys' basketball

Hopkins 72, Annandale 71: Ismael El-Amin made two free throws with eight seconds remaining to lift the visiting Royals, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, to the nonconference victory. El-Amin led the Royals with 20 points. Simon Wright added 19 for Hopkins. Jarod Wilken scored 21 and A.J. Hinz 20 for the Cardinals, who trailed by five at halftime but had forged a four-point lead with 8:56 remaining.

East Ridge 75, Wayzata 69: Courtney Brown scored 22 points to lead the balanced Raptors past the Trojans, ranked No. 4 in Class 4A. Marcus Haskins scored 15 and Zach Bennett and Nick Christenson each added 14 for the Raptors, who improved to 14-5. Drew Galinson scored 19 and Jacob Beeninga 17 for the Trojans. The loss was the second in four games for the Trojans (17-2), who opened the season with 13 consecutive victories.

Mahtomedi 87, Simley 66: Shayne Frost had 27 points and Parker Fox 22 to lead the Zephyrs, ranked No. 7 in Class 3A, to the Metro East victory. Fox, a senior, surpassed 1,000 points for his career.

Minneapolis North 64, Minneapolis Henry 53: The Polars, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, outlasted the Patriots for their 19th consecutive victory. Isaac Johnson scored 26 to lead the Polars.

New London-Spicer 65, Dassel-Cokato 58: Brandon Adelman scored 30 points — he was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line — to help the Wildcats fend off the Chargers in the Wright County Conference. Trever Kaiser had 30 points and 10 rebounds for the Chargers.

New Prague 73, Hastings 48: Senior center Zach Hanson scored 26 points and senior guard Jared Milinkovich 21 to lead the Trojans, ranked No. 8 in Class 4A, to the nonconference victory.

St. Paul Washington 64, St. Paul Como Park 61: Senior James Boua-Taylor scored the last seven points in the final two minutes to lift the Eagles to the victory. Boua-Taylor finished with 15 points. Teammate Curtis Bell scored a game-high 28 points.

Tartan 108, South St. Paul 33: Joevon Walker scored 20 points and Jordan Horn contributed 19 to pace the Titans, ranked No. 9 in Class 4A, to the Metro East victory. The 108 points were a season high for the Titans.

Boys' hockey

Elk River 9, Spring Lake Park 1: Jax Murray and Griffin Young each had two goals and an assist to pace the Elks, ranked No. 4 in Class 2A, to the Northwest Suburban victory. Murray scored his first goal 33 seconds into the game. Kyle Bouten contributed a goal and two assists for the Elks.

Holy Family 4, Delano 2: Ben Almquist's two third-period goals helped the Fire, ranked No. 5 in Class 2A, rally for their 11th consecutive victory. Delano, ranked No. 3 in Class 1A, led 2-1 behind goals from Brian Halonen and Ben Meyers. The Fire, who outshot Delano 57-12, tied the score late in the second period on a goal from Brady Ziemer. Delano goalie Jackson Hjelle had 53 saves.

Lakeville North 6, Lakeville South 2: Henry Enebak had two goals and three assists and Blake Brandt had three assists to fuel the victory for the Panthers, ranked No. 7 in Class 2A.

Mahtomedi 3, Mounds View 3 (OT): The Zephyrs' Charlie Bartholomew scored with 1:11 remaining in regulation to send game into overtime and help Mahtomedi, ranked No. 7 in Class 1A, salvage a tie. Mounds View took a 3-1 lead on Joe Sutton's goal early in the third period, but Matt Vanelli's second goal of the game with 9:07 remaining pulled the Zephyrs within 3-2.

St. Paul Academy 7, Providence Academy 4: Jack Johnston had a hat trick and an assist and Dev McCabe had three assists to lead the Spartans, ranked No. 4 in Class 1A, to the victory.

Girls' hockey

Maple Grove 8, Wayzata 1: Maia Martinez and Taylor Wente each had two goals and an assist to help the Crimson, ranked No. 3 in Class 2A, close out the regular season with their 20th victory.

Luverne 2, Windom 0: Claire Baustain scored two goals and Emilie Bartels had 13 saves to lead the Cardinals past Windom in the Class 1A, Section 3 quarterfinals.
