Participants: NFC champion Atlanta Falcons (13-5) vs. AFC champion New England Patriots (16-2). This is the second Super Bowl appearance for the Falcons (0-1) and the ninth for the Patriots (4-4).

When: 5:30 p.m. next Sunday.

Where: NRG Stadium (capacity 71,795) in Houston will be hosting for the second time.

TV: Ch. 9 (Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, Chris Myers).

Earnings: Winners $107,000 per player; losers $53,000 per player.

Line: New England by 3.

Performers: "America the Beautiful" by cast members of "Hamilton," national anthem by Luke Bryan, halftime show by Lady Gaga.
