Mark Hamburger set an American Association record with his 15th career complete game for the Saints, throwing 113 pitches in a 10-2 victory over the Sioux Falls Canaries on Monday night in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Hamburger allowed only two singles through four innings, but gave up an RBI double to Dan Motl that cut the Saints' lead to 2-1 in the fifth.

But the Saints gave him plenty of breathing room with a six-run seventh that included a three-run homer by Danny Oh, who drove in a career-high five runs, and run-scoring hits by Brady Shoemaker, Anthony Gallas and Tony Thomas.

Hamburger had to battle after retiring the first two hitters in the ninth, allowing back-to back singles to Patrick Fiala and Aaron Gretz before retiring B.J. Guinn on a pop fly to second.

Hamburger broke the record of Ben Moore, the current Canaries pitching coach.
