Chasing fifth victory in row vs. Avalanche

Preview: The Wild resumes action against the Central Division having won four consecutive against the Avalanche. It hasn't won on the road since its 6-4 victory over the Senators Dec. 19. Colorado has won four in a row and most recently blanked the Blue Jackets 2-0 Thursday. During this run, Colorado has outscored its opponents 15-6.

Players to watch: Goalie Jonathan Bernier is 3-0 in his past three games, giving up just three goals in that span. Winger Mikko Rantanen has two goals and five points in the Avalanche's past two games. Center Nathan MacKinnon leads the team in goals (17), assists (32) and points (49).

Numbers: Saturday would be defenseman Nate Prosser's 300th NHL game. Winger Mikael Granlund has amassed eight points in his past five games. The Avalanche is 9-3-1 in its past 13. Its 7-2-1 showing in the past 10 is also tops among Central Division teams.

Injuries: Avalanche F Sven Andrighetto (lower body) and G Semyon Varlamov (lower body) are day-to-day. Fs Vladislav Kamenev (arm) and J.T. Compher (upper-body) and D Tyson Barrie (hand) are out.
