Monica Wright, Eden Prairie • 32.5-inch tiger muskie • Lake Nokomis
Trophy Tales: Nothing boring about this muskie
Just after saying it had been a boring day (May 22) on the water, Wright, above, got a hit. Trolling with a purple Rapala and using her new pink Pflueger President reel on 10 lbs. mono line, Wright fought through two runs for her biggest catch ever.
BASS? HOW 'BOUT A WALLEYE
Brittany Wilson of Otsego was bass fishing with a bright neon yellow artificial lure when she landed this healthy 24-inch walleye.
LIGHT LINE, HEAVY NORTHERN
Paul Baker of Minnetristra caught this 42-inch northern on Saganaga Lake (Cook County). Fishing with an ultralight with 4" test line, Baker was reeling in a small walleye when the northern hit it. He released both fish.
