Turn Off the Dork

Previews didn't go smoothly.

The Spider-Man Musical, "Turn Off the Dark," had a preview performance the other night. The NYT called the first performance "a little rocky," and they don't mean it had that plucky underdog can-do yo-adrian spirit:

Looks like the suspension of disbelief was complicated buy the suspension of the actor:

There's more, here. On the other hand, i09's writer liked it, I think.One big problem: that thing in the picture above. That's "Swiss Miss," a villainess with rotating ninja-star nipples and corkscrews. Spidey has to fight her, of course. Who's her daddy, the Logan's Run robot?
