A head-on crash Tuesday between two semitrailer trucks on Interstate 90 in Winona County killed both drivers, police said.

A stretch of the interstate was closed for much of the day, and traffic in both directions was diverted onto northbound Hwy. 61, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Eastbound lanes reopened early Tuesday evening, with the westbound lanes following hours later about 9:45 p.m., once investigators gave the OK.
The semis collided about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, just before Nodine Exit 267.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash, which ended with at least one vehicle rolling on its side before being engulfed in flames.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the wreck.
Killed were a 47-year-old man from Glenville, Minn., and a 37-year-old from Roseville. Their names had not been released as of late Tuesday night.
