2016-17 WILD DEPTH CHART
Updated 2016-17 Wild Depth Chart
After Tuesday's Darcy Kuemper signing, here's a look at the Wild and its available cap space.
Here's a look at how the Wild is shaping up to look next season. This could change throughout the summer if the Wild adds and deletes more players. General Manager Chuck Fletcher has indicated the Wild's not done.
Obviously, lines change, roles change (like coach Bruce Boudreau indicating he'll start Mikael Granlund and Charlie Coyle at wing).
In parentheses, each player's salary cap hits. Restricted free agents are denoted as RFA.
Rosters are a maximum 23 players. Typically, the Wild keeps 13 forwards, seven defensemen and two goalies for a total of 22 players (benefit of having Iowa so close).
Three key roster hopefuls, Tyler Graovac, Nate Prosser and Christian Folin, would require waivers to get to Iowa, so they have inside tracks to make the team. This is why I list Mike Reilly, as of now, as a roster hopeful.

**Available cap space will be eaten up by eventual Dumba re-signing, whether roster hopefuls like Reilly make the team and outside signings.
***The Wild, like all teams, will save some cap space for callups and flexibility to make in-season adjustments (i.e. trades, waiver additions).
