View with care (and special glasses)

• Don't look directly at the eclipse without proper eyewear. Use special eclipse glasses, which are outfitted with a solar filter, and be sure that they meet International Organization for Standardization specifications.

• Cover your eyes with your eclipse glasses before looking up at the sun, and look back down at the ground before taking them off.

• If your eyewear is scratched or damaged at all, discard it.
