The Maple Grove home once owned by former Gov. Jesse Ventura and occupied by his family is up for sale.

The 5,100-square-foot residence backs up to a pond and sits on 1-plus "manicured acres" at 9978 Walnut Grove Lane, southeast of Brockton Lane and 101st Avenue. It's priced at $719,900.

The listing of the brick-and-stone two-level home by the Necklen & Oakland real estate agency notes there are five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a nanny's quarters, hot tub and a grand foyer with a winding staircase. It last sold in 2009 for $599,000.

Ventura, the former pro wrestler and occasional actor who ran for governor and won in 1998, has not lived in the home or owned it for several years.
