The Vikings, who quickly signed all of their draft picks in 2015 and 2016, have encountered resistance this year about some of the language in their rookie contracts
The first one to put pen to paper was fifth-round pick Rodney Adams, a wide receiver who will also be in the mix at kickoff returner.
Adams has a great backstory, which I wrote about earlier this month.
Next was seventh-round pick Ifeadi Odenigbo, a defensive end.
The Vikings, who quickly signed all of their draft picks in 2015 and 2016, have encountered resistance this year from the NFLPA and player agents about some of the language in their rookie contracts, though they reportedly aren't the only team dealing with this sort of issue.
Perhaps today's signings will open the floodgates. If not, the Vikings still have plenty of time to get these done before the start of training camp in late July. In the meantime, their other draft picks can continue to practice with the team after signing injury protection agreements.
